Prestigious Mastership from Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Randy J. GreenbergThe Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce that Randy J. Greenberg, DMD, of Cheshire, Conn., received the prestigious Mastership Award during the AGD’s Convocation ceremony, a commencement celebration that recognizes AGD member’s 11 in Baltimore, Md., Dr. Greenberg accepted this award along with more than 150 other recipients.

The Mastership Award is the highest honor available in the AGD and one of the most respected designations in the profession. This accomplishment meets the highest criteria for professional excellence. To accomplish this, Dr. Greenberg completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education in the 16 disciplines of dentistry, including 400 hours dedicated to hands-on skills and techniques. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Greenberg has joined over 2,200 members of the dental community who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements.

“The AGD is proud to honor Dr. Greenberg for his commitment to continuing education and dedication to providing his patients with exceptional oral health care,” says AGD President, David F. Halpern, DMD, FAGD. “Dr. Greenberg has gone above and beyond his professional responsibilities, distinguishing himself amongst his peers and exemplifying his allegiance to the dental community.”

Dr. Greenberg currently practices dentistry in Wallingford, Conn. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Greenberg is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Seattle Study Club. Dr. Greenberg is married to Donna and has three children, Sarah, David and Stephen.

The AGD is a professional association of more than 35,000 general dentists dedicated to staying up-to-date in the profession through continuing education. Founded in 1952, the AGD has grown to become the world’s second largest dental association, which is the only association that exclusively represents the needs and interests of general dentists.
